Following the signing and endorsement of the Action Plan of the Water Strategy in the Western Mediterranean (5+5) by the Ministers during the COP 22 (Marrakech, Nov. 2016), the Kick-off Meeting was actually a platform for exchanging ideas on the way forward, the existing financial instruments that the countries could leverage to implement the action plan, the possible collaboration with existing projects and initiatives in the region including SWIM H2020 SM. In addition, technical issues were discussed; this time the theme was focused on urban water supply in scarce environments.
